Helping Hands
Several years ago it was noted that there were people in our congregation who could use some help with meals.
To this end a group was formed to meet every other Monday morning in the church kitchen to prepare
several meals. They make everything from chicken soup to roast beef dinners. Those who receive
the food can store it in the freezer and just heat up a delicious and nutritious meal whenever they want.
Sometimes a person's need is temporary while recovering from surgery, injury, etc and sometimes
the need is ongoing. Whatever the situation these meals prepared with love and caring are most appreciated
by those who receive them.
